Family Reunion, 2010

Good time at our family reunion today! I met some people I knew by name-only! =) My cousin Ron and his wife Jan got it all together. There was a Family Tree where we attached our pictures on the correct branch.
Here's our branches. My Mom and Dad in the middle, and my and my brother's branches. My sister's branch is empty. They had car trouble and didn't get to come up. If I had thought of it in time, I could have printed out pictures of them.

We even had a trivia game about our ancestors. We had three teams, and on our team my Mom knew most of the answers. Our team finished the questions first, but another team got more correct, so they won.

Then we went to the Fairview cemetery where grandparents, uncles, brothers, sisters have been buried. After prayer, we released helium balloons in memory of them. There were little cards with names of the ones we wanted to remember, and we attached them to the balloons.

It was emotional, but good.
