♦ Donna Young's link for General Science. Note the "Lab Book & Grades" and the "Worksheets and Study Aids" tabs at the top, plus a few more.

Under the Worksheets tab you'll find printables for the scientists that are studied in Module 1, with blank lines for writing facts about each scientist.

Also, don't miss the skeletal bones and the digestive system diagrams to label.

You can click on the Lesson Plan links for 1st or 2nd Edition.
You can use hers, or use it as an idea how to make your own.
I really like the vocabulary bookmarks (found under the Lesson Plans). I print them out and punch holes on the right side, so the kids can put them in binders, cutting them off on the left side as we need them.
Don't miss the "Comments" tab where she has written some tips, including the fact that Module 1 is considered tough by some. I think it's mainly because it's long, and has a lot of history about scientists. The student is tested on many of these. Most advise taking an extra week for Module 1.
There are a couple more tabs as well as other links. Just browse and bookmark! =)

DeleteYou're welcome, Marion! Thanks for your sweet comment. =) =)
ReplyDeleteThis looks so awesome! I will be doing Exploring Creation with Physical Science 2nd edition this fall and was wondering if you have done something similar for that book. I'm hoping the answer is yes!!!!
ReplyDeleteWe did Physical Science, 1st edition, but I believe there are many of the same experiments. See the Science tab at the top of this website, and for videos you may visit homeschoolersresources.blogspot.com.
DeleteI haven't taught science in several years now, but have left the posts up for any who can use them. =)
